Tantric Massage Information
for Gay Men
Tantric bodywork in many ways is just like other bodywork. In some ways it isn't. For starters, tantric bodywork is taken naked, not draped. No embarrassment or hiding the body here. You shouldn't be surprised about being touched everywhere. Many people also think that tantric bodywork is about sex. This is not the case, though orgasm can be a natural side effect. Tantric bodywork reconnects you with your body and awakens your sexual energy. Tantric bodywork is about being in the moment, experiencing joy, celebrating touch, awakening your body and your sexuality, and for some, a deeper sense of connection with the universe.
A typical Tantric Bodywork session consists of:
The setting: Private, safe, and warm enough to be naked, with comfortable music.
Phase 1: Physical Tension Release - Client lays on his stomach while bodyworker rubs head, neck, back, rear, legs, and feet. The point is to relieve built up tension before the next phase begins.
Phase 2: Energy work - While remaining on his stomach, energy work is performed to open his spiritual centers.
Phase 3: Awakening - Client lays on his back with support underneath his head and his hips so his genitals are in clear view. Awakening strokes are used on the front of his body. Sensate focusing techniques may also be used.
Tantric bodywork is an enjoyable, intimate experience of relaxation and release.

Tantric Meditation Symbol
Tantra consists of much more than bodywork. It is an ancient religion that believes that you can experience connecting with the divine through sacred sexuality.
